The end of the year is getting really really close, but I wanted to get at least one more thing out the door in 2007. So, here goes…
The BETA version of the Literotica Feedback Portal is online now!
If you have a few spare moments, please click over and take a look. The entire feedback portal has been redesigned. We think the new design is superior to the old one, but I’d rather hear from readers than rely on my own opinions in this case.
One thing I’m interested in getting feedback on is the new background image (on the right side of the page). We have used the same background image on Literotica from 1998 to the present. Over the years, we’ve had many requests to tone down the “Literotica” part of the background so that it isn’t as obvious when people are reading over your shoulder. Well, the new version tones it down a bit and, I think, looks better all around. Again, though, I want to hear from Literotica readers to see what all of you think.
If you find any bugs or issues with the BETA page, please let me know about that, as always.

Excellent. Looking forward to other changes if they are of similar high quality. Like that new, more subdued background image. The overall impression is that of a higher level of professionalism, a crisper, cleaner looking page; it’ll even make those anonymous diatribes respectable.
I like it. Now please can we have a skin on the forum which is based on a softer colour, like green? All the skins are “hard” colours like black, red, blue or brown. No softer green, pink, etc.
I am always interested to see whether changes will work when your reader is using a Mac computer and browsers like Firefox and Camino. I can report that the format seems to work quite nicely under these circumstances, hotlinks do as they are supposed and the softer colours sit nicely. Thanks Manu. Have a happy New Year
Very nice. Clean, crisp and easy on the eyes. I agree with snoop, softer tones for the forums would be great, either way we appreciate all you do over there on your side of the screen. ~ Thanks, Red
I like it a lot, very user friendly, and it may push many readers to jump to a place they may never have landed otherwise.
BUT, i’m confused by the “switch to the old version” option. What was the old version? If this is a beta…
Anyway, i love it!
I selected it and I will have to go back. It is very S L O W!
I better find that option to go back to the old version. In addition, it posted a calendar page on my desktop lower left quarter of the screen. It was a pain to get rid of to say the least.
I use Firefox and it came out crisp and clean. Much more readable.
No perceptible difference in load speed.
Go with it.
(Now if we could just submit stories in .doc or .htm format directly.)
I love the multi-quote feature. The one thing I wish we had back was the ability to put a person on ignore from the drop down menu on their AV in a post instead of having to actually go to their profile to do it.
